Job Description

Role Summary
The Primary Class Assistant Teacher supports the class teacher in delivering effective teaching and learning, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and providing appropriate support to pupils in their academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities
•Support safeguarding, classroom routines, learning resources and other school activities as required.

•Support the Class Teacher in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons and classroom activities.

• Assist pupils with their learning and provide additional support to those who require extra attention.

• Help maintain a safe, organised, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.

• Monitor pupils’ participation, behaviour, and progress, and provide relevant feedback to the Class Teacher.
