Prepare and issue monthly invoices for clients subscribed to Dedicated Internet Access and ancillary services (e.g., MPLS, Fiber, BIA, VOIP).
Verify billing rates, usage data, and contract terms before finalizing invoices.
Upload finalized invoices to the billing portal and email clients where applicable.
Maintain and update customer master data in the billing system, including service start dates, rate plans, and addresses.
Assist in updating rate cards, discounts, and special pricing as approved by management.
Monitor and reconcile bandwidth or service usage records against system-generated reports.
Perform monthly reconciliations between the billing system, network usage reports, and the general ledger.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in invoice amounts or usage data.
Prepare basic billing reports (e.g., ageing reports, revenue by service type) for internal review.
Serve as the first point of contact for client billing inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed.
Track and follow up on billing disputes, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
Collaborate with Sales, Network Operations, and Finance teams to resolve discrepancies and improve accuracy.
Support documentation of billing procedures, checklists, and workflows.
Assist in process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing billing accuracy and efficiency.
Participate in billing system upgrades and user acceptance testing.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
0–2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or similar finance-related roles.
Experience in a telecommunications environment is an added advantage.
Familiarity with billing platforms (e.g., Oracle BRM, Intec, Amdocs) is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
Strong numerical and data reconciliation skills.
Understanding of basic accounting and billing principles.
Ability to explain billing issues clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
Good organizational and time-management skills to meet tight deadlines.
Working knowledge of telecom service offerings such as Dedicated Internet, VPN, or MPLS.
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude.
Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
