Branch Manager, Retail Sales

We are seeking experienced Branch Managers to lead retail banking (sales) in our branches across Nasarawa, Benue, Gombe, Adamawa, Niger, and Potiskum. The successful candidates will drive business growth, build strong customer relationships, and manage high-performing teams in these regions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail customers.
• Market and cross-sell the bank’s retail products and services.
• Drive branch sales and deposit growth through effective marketing strategies.
• Supervise and coach account officers to achieve business goals.
• Implement call plans, track customer needs, and deliver excellent service.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, ensuring compliance and quality reporting.
• Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships and generate referrals.

• A first degree in a Business-related discipline (Master’s/professional certification is an added advantage).
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, with at least 3 years in retail services/marketing.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian retail banking market and banking operations.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong leadership, supervisory, and team management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and reporting.
