Job Description - Business Development Executive




Our client is a Fintech company with innovative payment solutions and services. They have built a trusted payment infrastructure that allows digital payment possibilities without hassles they are looking to hire Business Development Executive to grow their Fintech business through strategic partnerships and market expansion. You will identify new opportunities, build client relationships, and help shape go-to-market strategies. The ideal candidates have strong B2B sales experience, knowledge of the Fintech landscape, and a passion for innovation in financial services.




Key Responsibilities



  • Drive sales of payment gateway solutions to SMEs, large enterprises, and online merchants by identifying leads and closing high-value deals.

  • Identify, onboard, and manage new merchants across various industry verticals, ensuring a smooth integration of payment solutions.

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for payment products, targeting e-commerce platforms, retail chains, and digital service providers.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term partnerships and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.

  • Collaborate with product and technical teams to provide merchant feedback, enhance payment features, and ensure seamless onboarding.

  • Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to position our payment gateway competitively and refine sales tactics.

  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs related to merchant acquisition, transaction volume, and revenue growth.

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and merchant outreach programs to generate leads and enhance brand visibility.

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies, educating merchants on secure payment practices and digital finance tools.










Requirements







  • Bachelor’s degree in degree in Social Science, Business, and Marketing.

  • 3-4 years of experience in Fintech, E-commerce, Retail, SaaS.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

  • Strong knowledge of consultative selling, pipeline management, and upselling/cross-selling.

  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and analytics tools
