Business Development Manager

Job Purpose

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new market opportunities, acquiring clients, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the Company's portfolio of services. The role requires developing and implementing business development strategies that enhance revenue, strengthen client relationships, and support the achievement of organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities across target industries.

• Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

• Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, presentations, and service pitches.

• Lead negotiations and facilitate the successful closure of business deals.

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities.

• Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs.

• Monitor industry trends and recommend strategies to improve market competitiveness.

• Prepare periodic business development reports, sales forecasts, and pipeline updates.

• Represent the Company at meetings, networking events, exhibitions, and industry engagements.

• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and promote long-term business relationships.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Sciences, Marketing, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, or Client Relationship Management.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Excellent relationship management and networking abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience within the consulting, engineering, facility management, HVAC services, training, outsourcing, or corporate services sector is an added advantage.
