Job Summary
We are seeking experienced and highly skilled Cardiac ICU Nurses to provide specialized critical care to patients before and after cardiac surgery and other complex cardiovascular procedures. The successful candidates will provide continuous monitoring, advanced nursing interventions, medication management, and coordinated multidisciplinary care for critically ill cardiac patients in accordance with international standards and evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities
⢠Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients in the Cardiac ICU.
⢠Conduct continuous monitoring and assessment of cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and haemodynamic status.
⢠Monitor patients requiring mechanical ventilation, invasive monitoring, and other advanced life-support interventions.
⢠Administer medications, vasoactive agents, anticoagulants, and other therapies safely according to prescribed protocols.
⢠Monitor and manage postoperative cardiac surgery patients, including patients requiring ventilatory and haemodynamic support.
⢠Recognize and respond promptly to clinical deterioration and cardiac emergencies.
⢠Assist with emergency resuscitation and advanced life-support interventions.
⢠Monitor drains, lines, catheters, wounds, and other postoperative devices.
⢠Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation and clinical records.
