Cashier

Job Purpose      

• Monitor fuel dispensers to ensure
  liters sold accurately match customer payments; report any discrepancies
  immediately.
  
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer;
  perform reconciliations at the start and end of each shift.
  
• Follow strict cash -handling procedures
  to prevent fraud, theft, or errors.
  
• Record daily transactions for both
  fuel and water sales; submit clear, accurate end -of -day reports.
  
• Provide basic customer service –
  process payments (cash, card, fleet cards), answer inquiries, and maintain a
  professional demeanor.
  
• Adhere to company policies, safety
  protocols, and security procedures, including basic fuel station safety.
  

Requirements

• Senior
  Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent preferred.
  
• Previous
  cashier or retail experience (fuel station experience is a plus).
  
• Basic math skills and proficiency with POS
  systems.
  
• High level of integrity and reliability.
  
• Strong attention to detail, especially regarding
  numbers and inventory tracking.
