Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in accordance with the menu. You will work alongside a team of cooks to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation, delivering exceptional food to the guests.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes and established procedures.
Portion and plate food to ensure consistency and attractive presentation.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards.
Stock and maintain prep areas with necessary ingredients.
Operate and clean kitchen equipment.
Assist other cooks in ensuring timely meal preparation and service.
Follow food safety regulations and storage procedures.
Learn and adapt to new recipes and techniques.
Requirements
Experience in a professional kitchen.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of safe food handling practices.
Proficiency in various cooking techniques.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
