Job Description - Chief Security Officer

Our client is the foremost luxury goods company in Nigeria with a diversified portfolio that consists of over 13 of the world's most prestigious luxury brands. Due to expansion they are looking to fill the role of CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER

LOCATION: Lagos

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement strategic security protocols and procedures.

Provide strategic vision and direction in security aspects of the company.

Develop policies and protocols for securing and protecting sensitive information.

Coordinate cross team functions in maintaining vigilance and security of the company.

Develop logistics to protect intellectual property, copyrights and other related risks.

Utilize information technology to protect electronic information resources.

Initiate measures to protect highly sensitive databases.

Develop and initiate procedures to protect company’s fixed assets.

Initiate safety measures to protect the lives and properties of the company.

Developing, implementing, and maintaining security processes and policies, identifying and reducing risks, limiting liability and exposure to informational, physical, and financial risk.

Implementing and overseeing strategies to assess and mitigate risk, safeguarding the company, its subsidiaries and its assets.

Crisis management, interface with security operatives and any outsourced security company, superintend and coordinate the security unit of the company, monitor and scrutinize the activities of security operatives working in the company.

Hire and recruit in conjunction with the HR Manager the best talent in building up the security of the company.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

Minimun of 10 years experience

Project management ability.

Sound written and verbal communication skills.

Supervisory skill.

Scheduling and planning skill.

Leadership.

Organizational skills.

Attention to detail.

Administrative writing and reporting skills

Good persuasion and negotiation skills.

Ability to deliver result and work under pressure, resourceful, networking and reliable.

Passion, patience, dedication, creativity and eye toward precision.
