Cloud Program Manager - Nigeria

Position Summary:

DeepSource Technologies is on the lookout for a proactive and detail-oriented Cloud Program Manager to lead our cloud initiatives in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of cloud-based solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices, and driving cloud transformation strategies for our clients.

As a Cloud Program Manager, you will collaborate with technical teams, stakeholders, and clients to deliver seamless integration of cloud technology into their existing infrastructure. You will play a vital role in managing projects from conception through execution and will be responsible for achieving business objectives while optimizing the use of resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project management for cloud implementation and migration projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Collaborate with solution architects and technical teams to design and implement effective cloud solutions tailored to client needs.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, timelines, status reports, and risk assessments.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate communication between technical teams and clients to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Identify project risks and issues proactively, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing impact on project timelines.
• Conduct regular project meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and ensuring open lines of communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor and report on project performance against established KPIs and success criteria.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging cloud technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 8+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on cloud-based solutions and infrastructure.
• Proven experience managing cloud projects, preferably in a SaaS or IT consulting environment.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related technologies.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
• Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator) are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project).
• A proactive, results-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements.
