Role Profile
We are looking for a passionate and results-oriented Regional Commercial Manager to lead our farm sales and business development efforts. You will play a key role in driving growth for Kyosk, our digital platform connecting farmers directly with FMCG companies.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and commercial strategy for the farm segment, including identifying new customer acquisition channels and building strong relationships with key agricultural partners.
Business Development: Lead the expansion of Kyosk's farm network by identifying and onboarding new farms of various sizes and commodities. Analyze market trends and opportunities to develop targeted outreach programs.
Performance Management: Set ambitious sales targets for the farm segment and oversee the performance of the team in achieving these goals. Implement metrics to track farm engagement and satisfaction with the Kyosk platform.
Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to understand farmer needs and identify opportunities to improve the Kyosk platform's value proposition for the agricultural sector.
Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in the agricultural sector, including farmer associations, cooperatives, and input suppliers.
Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities to improve farm recruitment, retention, and platform usage. Utilize data insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Team Management: Provide leadership and coaching to the farm sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in agricultural sales, business development, or a related field.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in the agricultural sector.
Strong understanding of the agricultural market dynamics in [Target Region].
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with farmers and other stakeholders.
Experience working with data and utilizing it to inform decision-making.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with agricultural technology platforms is a plus.
