Compliance/Audit Officer

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Ensure organizational compliance with donor regulations, contractual requirements, and internal policies.
  
• Conduct regular compliance reviews, risk assessments, and internal audits.
  
• Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of compliance frameworks and internal control systems.
  
• Investigate compliance incidents and recommend timely, effective corrective actions.
  
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance documentation and records.
  
• Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance, ethics, safeguarding, and anti-fraud standards.
  
• Collaborate with program and finance teams to ensure compliance during project implementation.
  
• Support external audits and monitoring missions, including preparation and follow-up.
  
• Advise management on legal, regulatory, and compliance-related matters.
