Can you debate the football GOAT while simultaneously tracking user retention metrics? We are looking for an analytical, football-obsessed Content Officer to drive digital engagement, curate compelling content, and manage our platformâs user experience.
In this role, you will sit at the intersection of football culture, data analytics, and platform operations. You will be responsible for managing content across our CMS, seeding lively debates within our community forums, and using modern AI tools and data to keep daily active users (DAUs) hooked.
Digital Content Curation & Management: Populate, update, and manage the platform's digital content ecosystem using Content Management Systems (CMS).
Community Forum Seeding: Actively monitor community forums and seed high-engagement topics, discussions, and hot takes that drive daily active usage and platform retention.
Localized Storytelling: Draft crisp, engaging copy in both flawless English and relatable Nigerian Pidgin to connect natively with football fans.
Data & Performance Analytics: Track key content performance metrics, monitor user retention signals, and use basic data analytics to refine content strategies.
Tech & AI Integration: Leverage AI tools and modern productivity software to scale content creation, research stats, and streamline daily content workflows.
Education: HND or Bachelorâs degree (B.Sc.) in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, Information Technology, or a relevant discipline.
Experience: 1â3 years in digital content management, app administration, or content curation. (Talented entry-level candidates or interns with exceptional football knowledge and tech skills are also welcome to apply).
Football Expertise: An encyclopedic knowledge of footballâspanning historical stats, tactics, global leagues, and current Nigerian fan culture.
Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience or familiarity with CMS platforms.
Proficiency in basic data analytics and modern AI productivity tools.
Linguistic Skills: Impeccable English grammar paired with a natural mastery of Nigerian Pidgin for authentic local engagement.
