Data Science Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Science Trainer to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This is an urgent requirement for a professional who is passionate about data science and enjoys imparting knowledge to learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and practical training sessions in Data Science and related fields.
  
• Develop and update training materials, lesson plans, and assessments.
  
• Provide mentorship and support to learners throughout their learning journey.
  
• Evaluate learner performance and provide constructive feedback.
  
• Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in Data Science.
  
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure training objectives are met.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
• Relevant professional certifications in Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related disciplines will be an added advantage.
  
• Proven experience delivering training in Data Science.
  
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, data visualization, and machine learning concepts.
  
• Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
  
• Experience using industry -standard tools such as Python, Jupyter Notebook, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit -learn, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
  

Preferred Skills

• Hands -on industry experience in Data Science.
  
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for learners with varying levels of experience.
  
• Experience in curriculum development and learner assessment.
