Draftsman/Quantity Surveyor

The candidate should have the skills and experiences to carry on Draftsman and Quantity Surveyor duties.

Quantity Surveying:

• Assist in prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect, consultants and/or the client and prepare and analyze costings for tenders                


• Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work


• Participate in allocation of work to                          


• Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress                             


• Value completed work with the external QS and other consultants and arrange payments                    


• Preparing taking off for material, labor, overhead costs, for project done in house, and advise on contractual claims


• Negotiating/ analyse/comparing contracts with subcons and provide advice on contractual       


• Site measurements to verify work done and reviewing informatiion for completeness and                   


• Preparing VO or final as-built quotations or claims  and payment claims  to client.         

AutoCAD Drafting:

• Checks plans and prepare assembly and detail drawings on the basis of the information and        instruction provided


• Makes necessary calculations for drawing                 


• Prepares As-built drawings in the prescribed computer  sheet given by the internal team or           external Consultant and assist in project close-outs and prepares and assists in drawing revisions are required            


• Add details to architectural plans from their knowledge of building techniques             


• Work from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers and architects             


• Design plans using computer-aided design and drafting (AUTOCAD) software        


• Draft and prepare layout drawings of the given structures, components and devices


• Produce draft designs and diagrams according to the given specifications 


• Assist and coordinate with designers and engineers and collaborate with designers,           constructors and engineers  


• Calculate dimensions and allowancede with accurate                         


• Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements and compile data and specifications spreadsheets


• Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
