Our client, a leading technology distribution company in Africa is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the integration of the finance, supply chain, sales, and operations into one platform. He/She will ensure that this system is implemented, customized, and optimized to meet TD Africaâs unique business needs.
This role is both functional (business process alignment) and technical (system configuration).
Key tasks include:
1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis
âEngage with stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, and goals.
âTranslate these requirements into system configurations.
2. System Implementation & Configuration
âSet up modules like Finance, Inventory, Sales, Procurement, and HR.
âConfigure Role Centers (personalized dashboards) and permissions for different user roles to ensure security and efficiency.
3. Customization & Optimization
âTailor workflows, forms, and reports to fit organizational needs.
âIntegrate Business Central with other systems (e.g., CRM, payroll, third\-party apps).
4. Data Migration & Testing
âMigrate data from legacy systems.
âConduct functional and user acceptance testing to ensure accuracy.
5. Training & Support
âTrain end\-users on system functionality.
âProvide ongoing support and troubleshoot issues post\-implementation.
6. Compliance & Best Practices
âEnsure processes align with financial regulations and internal controls.
âMaintain system updates and security
âBachelorâs degree in information systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field.
âMinimum 3â5 years of experience in Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation and support.
âStrong knowledge of ERP processes across Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations.
âExperience with customization, integration, and data migration.
âProficiency in Microsoft Power Platform and reporting tools (Power BI preferred).
âExcellent analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills
âStrong knowledge of Business Central modules (Finance, Supply Chain, etc.).
âAnalytical and problem\-solving skills.
âAbility to customize Role Centers and manage permissions.
âCommunication skills for stakeholder engagement and training
