Location: Lagos
-To execute the BDF eCommerce (“eCom”) strategy with all Ecommerce partners; Jumia, Konga, Mano, Glovo, MAKA, establishing standards that are considered best-in-class & ensuring that BDF brands are at the forefront eCom for personal & skin care industry in Nigeria.
-To achieve the commercial objectives of all Ecommerce & Multichannel accounts
-To develop an account strategy & action plan that delivers against brand and customer investment strategies
-The role is expected to drive new learnings through our eCom customers, while maintaining strong relationships to best execute customer plans
Principle Accountabilities
-Develop current customer relationships & engage new customers for a defined group of eCom accounts (Jumia, Konga, Mano, Glovo, MAKA)
-Create and execute an annual plan of digital activities with eCom accounts that ensures the delivery of brand, category and customer objectives (incl. joint business plan & roadmap). Strong focus on getting the basics right in order to improve BDF search ranking.
-Drive strategic relationships and accelerated growth, while operating within approved trade marketing parameters, and balancing trade and media investment effectiveness and efficiency (incl. listing definition, terms & conditions à TTC)
-Evaluate eCom sales performance against digital plans & KPI’s and make recommendations to ensure targets are met as well as to accelerate future performance (KPI definition & reporting)
-Ensures that return on investment for digital sales promotional activity is maximised within the guidelines set in the brand strategies and annual customer plans.
-Creates monthly business forecast for eCom accounts and provides details of any variance to forecast.
-Work in conjunction with Shopper and Customer Management & brand teams to ensure alignment to brand strategy in digital sales activity.
-Align with and steer cross functional team (sales controlling, marketing, digital marketing, shopper customer marketing, supply chain) for eCom pilots & new customer roll-out
-Be a key influence in the short and long term execution of the BDF eCom strategy
-Drive & share new learnings on eCom “best practices” by acting as liason manager to global eCom team and other countries
Requirements
Candidate Requirements
-Education: Degree in Sales & Marketing or any other related field.
-Min 5 years of experience in key account or sales position and eCom
-Superior sales and management skills – preferably with proven track record in managing eCom accounts
-Strategic thinking: Able to tackle complex situations, evaluate alternative courses of action, and provide fact based solutions/recommendations
-Driving results: Able to influence others, with strong negotiation skills to resolve issues/conflicts in a “win-win” manner
-Collaboration: Strong customer focus and ability to build credible relationships internally and externally at all levels
-Thinking ahead: Good level of analytical skills, with a commercial mindset and able to translate strategy into action
-Leads, encourages and motivates to deliver excellent performance and commercial targets
-Strong working knowledge of eCom best practices, digital marketing trends, brand websites, eMail, CRM and web analytics
-Excellent presentation and communication skills
