Job Summary : We are seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team
at Onekobo Technologies Limited. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components for our advanced
simulation and training products. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional
teams to ensure the successful implementation and integration of electrical systems in
our technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and Development:
- Design and develop electrical systems and components for simulation and training
products.
- Create detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams.
- Select appropriate electrical components and materials based on project requirements.
2. System Integration:
- Collaborate with software and mechanical engineering teams to integrate electrical
systems into simulation products.
- Ensure seamless communication and functionality between electrical components and
other system parts.
- Conduct system-level testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper integration and
operation.
3. Prototyping and Testing:
- Build and test prototypes to validate design concepts and performance.
- Perform debugging and optimization of electrical systems to enhance reliability and
efficiency.
- Develop and execute testing protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards
and regulations.
4. Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to define requirements, set timelines, and monitor
progress.
- Provide regular updates on project status and address any issues that may arise.
5. Documentation and Compliance:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all electrical designs, including
specifications, test results, and user manuals.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and best
practices.
- Stay updated with advancements in electrical engineering and incorporate new
technologies into designs.
6. Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with the production team to support manufacturing and assembly
processes.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and departments as
needed.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
1. Education and Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design and development, preferably in
the simulation or training technology industry. - Proven experience with CAD software for electrical design (e.g., AutoCAD, Altium
Designer).
2. Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
- Proficiency in micro-controller programming and embedded systems.
- Experience with PCB design and layout.
- Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations (e.g., IEEE, IEC).
3. Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
4. Certifications (Preferred):
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Certification in relevant areas such as embedded systems, power electronics, or control
systems.
Working Conditions
- This role may require occasional travel to client sites and manufacturing facilities.
- Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours as needed to meet project
deadlines.
