Job Description - Fashion Researcher

Identifying and forecasting upcoming trends in fashion, textiles, colors, and silhouettes by analyzing runway collections and cultural shifts.
Collecting and analyzing data from various sources such as fashion shows, social media, consumer reports, and market trends.
Identify target audience preferences and evolving needs
Support pricing, positioning, and product lifecycle decisions
Collaborate closely with designers and marketing teams to translate research findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
Conducting competitor analysis and presenting findings to stakeholders.
Curate mood boards that define the seasonal aesthetic for designers and merchants.
Perform any other task as assigned by the management

SKILLS

Strong analytical and research skills
Deep understanding of fashion trends and consumer behavior
Ability to interpret data and translate into actionable insights
Proficiency in research tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong presentation and communication skills
Commercial awareness and strategic thinking

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Marketing, Business, or a related field
2-5 years of experience in fashion research, trend analysis, or market intelligence
Experience within retail, luxury, or fashion industry is preferred
