The firm powers remittance flows, fintech interoperability, and enterprise-to-enterprise settlements across multiple licensed corridors including Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, Ethiopia, Mozambique and additional regions under expansion.
With increasing adoption of digital payments, stablecoin transactions, and API-driven financial connectivity, the business is strengthening its global partnership footprint. To accelerate market penetration and revenue scale, the organisation is seeking a commercially sharp FI Sales Executive to acquire, onboard, and grow institutional partners across the fintech and remittance ecosystem.
Role Overview
The FI Sales Executive will be responsible for driving new partnership acquisition and revenue expansion through payment institutions, remittance players, PSPs, and API-driven fintechs. The role requires someone deeply networked within the global payments landscape, able to engage in both commercial and technical conversations confidently, and capable of converting relationships into tangible volume growth.
Success in this role means rapidly onboarding high-value partners, increasing transaction throughput, and positioning the company as the dominant enabler of cross-border payments for Africa-linked corridors.
Key Requirements
Secure 5–7 new fintech/remittance API clients in the first 12 months.
Grow monthly transaction volumes to $30m+ across onboarded partners.
Generate 10+ qualified commercial introductions per quarter.
Deliver ≤45-day onboarding cycle and maintain SLA compliance above 95%.
Expand partner coverage across all operational licensing jurisdictions.
Provide monthly market insights and validate 2+ client-driven product features quarterly.
Core Responsibilities
Partnership Development & Sales Execution
Source, pitch, negotiate, and close partnership deals with remittance companies, fintechs, PSPs, banks, and digital financial operators globally.
Map new market corridors and actively pursue high-volume client pipelines.
Structure commercial agreements built around mutually sustainable value and scale.
Revenue Growth & Account Performance
Drive monthly TPV growth and maximise throughput from each partner.
Maintain strong post-onboarding support, retention and commercial stickiness.
Track revenue contribution performance and expand wallet share per client.
Technical Collaboration & Product Alignment
Work alongside product/engineering teams to enable API integrations effectively.
Communicate client requirements and market trends with clarity and frequency.
Validate product enhancement requests backed by real usage and revenue data.
