Finance Manager (Iddo (Oyingbo, Lagos)

Background

We are seeking to recruit a Finance Manager
for our client in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry. Our client is
a reputable organization with a strong presence in the sector, committed to
delivering high-quality products to consumers while driving growth and
innovation in a highly competitive market.

As part of its expansion and focus on
operational excellence, the company requires a Finance Manager to provide
strategic financial leadership. The successful candidate will oversee financial
planning and analysis, budgeting, reporting, compliance, and cash flow
management, while also driving cost efficiency and supporting the business with
data-driven insights.

·         Record transactions based on bank statements and
reconciled bank deposit balances.

·         Prepare and submit monthly and annual tax
filings on time, including Personal Income Tax, Value Added Tax, Withholding
Tax, Corporate Income Tax, and other statutory taxes.

·         Organize and archive monthly expense invoices,
tax filing documents, and payment receipts.

·         Implement and promote financial management
processes through the company’s financial management system, including
approving external payments and employee reimbursement processes.

·         Coordinate with external auditors during the
annual audit to ensure smooth completion of the Corporate Income Tax filing.

·         Monitor industry tax policies and provide
professional insights to management.

·         Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax regulations
and statutory laws.

·         Produce monthly financial and management
reports, including cash flow analysis.

·         Report directly to the Managing Director.

Requirements

·         Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or
related field.

·         Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, ICAN)
preferred.

·         Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.

·         Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax
regulations, and financial guidelines.

·         Proficiency in accounting software (e.g.,
QuickBooks, SAP).

·         Excellent analytical, communication, and
organizational skills.
