Job Description - Finance Officer

Summary:

The Finance Officer is a vital contributor to the financial integrity and operational efficiency of Murty International Limited. This role oversees core financial functions including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger management, financial reporting, and budgetary oversight. By ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency in all financial activities, the Finance Officer supports informed decision-making and helps advance the organization’s strategic objectives. The ideal candidate combines analytical precision with strong organizational abilities and a commitment to fiscal responsibility.

Responsibilities:

Process invoices, payments, and expense reports with accuracy and timeliness
Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements on a regular basis
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Provide data and analysis to support budget development, tracking, and forecasting
Monitor cash flow trends and identify opportunities for cost optimization
Uphold internal controls, GAAP standards, and regulatory compliance
Collaborate with internal departments and external auditors during audit cycles
Maintain secure, accurate, and up-to-date financial records and documentation
