Job Summary

  • The General Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Logistics Company, ensuring efficient and profitable operations. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, business development, and maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily haulage operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Optimize fleet utilization and maintenance schedules.
  • Develop and manage budgets.
  • Analyze financial reports to guide decision-making.
  • Implement cost-saving measures.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to grow market share.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the haulage team.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Implement training and development programs.
  • Maintain and build relationships with key clients.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present regular operational reports to senior management.
