GM Supply Chain Management

§  Co-ordinate
procurement activities such as Purchasing, Expediting, Logistics and Material
Handling, ensuring best value through exploring different purchasing options,
whilst complying with the company’s procurement strategy.

§  Design or implement
supply chain policies that support business strategies adapted to changing
market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.

§  Drive cost
reduction efforts utilizing negotiation techniques, managing transportation
costs, and minimizing working capital while meeting company objectives.

§  Supervise all
logistics, distribution and transportation process, ensuring efficient and
optimized service delivery.

§  Keep track of
quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
within the order cycle.

§  Build and maintain
an effective database for tracking OEMs, OEM accredited distributors, stockists
and equipment suppliers

·         Negotiate prices,
terms and delivery schedules with contractors and vendors / manufacturers to
achieve cost reduction.

·         Provide
guidance and support on all major Tenders and service contracts; Develop and
review technical/commercial tenders to enhance the quality of tenders submitted
to meet client’s specification and standards.

·         Evaluate
tenders and select providers in an objective and rigorous way, in line with
established guidelines and principles.

Requirements

Education:

·         Bachelors Degree in Business Management,
Supply Chain, Engineering or other related field

·         MBA or MSc

·         Certification in Supply Chain Management
required

·         Certification in Project Management

Experience:

·         10 - 15 years’ work experience in a
similar role in the Oil and Gas

Oil
& Gas Industry

·         Good knowledge of procurement techniques
as well as a dexterity in “reading” the industry clime

·         Cross-Functional Supply Chain Expertise

·         Global Experience & International Regulations

·         Strategic Sourcing and Supplier
Management

·         Customer Relationship Management

·         Experience in Project Management and
Stakeholder Management
