Job Description - Growth Marketing Manager

FairMoney is a pioneering mobile banking institution specializing in extending credit to emerging markets. Established in 2017, the company currently operates primarily within Nigeria, and it has secured nearly €50 million in funding from renowned global investors, including Tiger Global, DST, and Flourish Ventures. FairMoney maintains a strong international presence, with offices in several countries, including France, Nigeria, Germany, Latvia, the UK, Türkiye, and India.

In alignment with its vision, FairMoney is actively constructing the foremost mobile banking platform and point-of-sale (POS) solution tailored for emerging markets. The journey began with the introduction of a digital microcredit application exclusively available on Android and iOS devices. Today, FairMoney has significantly expanded its range of services, encompassing a comprehensive suite of financial products, such as current accounts, savings accounts, debit cards, and state-of-the-art POS solutions designed to meet the needs of both merchants and agents.

Job Overview

We’re hiring a Growth Marketing Manager to lead our local acquisition and engagement efforts. This is a high-impact role focused on driving real business growth through offline activations, referral optimization, strategic partnerships, multi-channel campaigns, and close collaboration with global Paid media and CRM teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and launch high-impact local growth initiatives - including community activations, campus drives, market storms, flyering, and on-ground engagement designed to drive new customer acquisition and retention
  • Lead strategic partnerships and event sponsorships to increase brand visibility and unlock new acquisition opportunities
  • Optimize and scale the referral program - collaborating with global teams to launch localized campaigns, experiment with incentives, and track performance to improve acquisition
  • Plan and execute multi-channel growth campaigns across online, offline, referral, and CRM channels in collaboration with the brand, design, and community teams - with clear targets and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with the global paid media and CRM teams to input local insights, adapt messaging, and enhance efficiency across Meta, Google and relevant channels
  • Develop and test performance-focused content and messaging for digital and offline use cases, working closely with creative and content teams
    Run A/B tests and structured experiments to optimize messaging, channel performance, and conversion funnels
    Work with the analytics team to develop dashboards and tracking tools that provide visibility into growth metrics, CAC, conversion rates, and ROI
  • Manage external vendors or freelancers where needed (e.g. paid search, SEO, activation support)

Qualifications & Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in growth marketing, user acquisition, or performance-led marketing roles
  • Proven track record leading on-ground activations, BTL, strategic partnerships and optimizing referrals campaigns 
  • Experience in planning multi-channel campaigns across both online & offline with measurable KPIs
  • Analytical and data-driven - you are comfortable digging into performance data to guide strategy
  • Clear communicator and strong cross-functional collaborator 
  • Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable launching new channels and processes
