Hausa Language Specialist

• Review, annotate, and validate Hausa language data for NLU tasks.
  
• Assist in developing and refining Hausa linguistic resources (e.g., intents, utterances, entities)
  
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural relevance of Hausa language inputs.
  
• Collaborate with data scientists and computational linguists to improve Hausa language coverage.
  
• Conduct quality checks and linguistic reviews of AI outputs in Hausa.
  
• Provide linguistic insights to support model training and evaluation.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Hausa Language, Linguistics, or a related field.
  
• Proficiency in written and spoken Hausa with a strong command of grammar and orthography.
  
• Ability to analyze language data with attention to detail.
  
• Familiarity with NLU, NLP, or AI projects is a plus (training will be provided).
  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
