Job Description - Head, Growth & Partnerships

Division: Growth & Partnerships
Reports to: TBD
Location: Lagos, Nigeria (with occasional travel)



Role Summary:  


The Head of Growth & Partnerships is responsible for leading strategic business development, cultivating high-value partnerships, and elevating client experiences across Livespot’s creative ecosystem. This role will oversee cross-functional teams to identify new market opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and position Livespot as a leading culture and innovation powerhouse. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of entrepreneurial energy, creative vision, operational discipline, and people leadership.


Key Responsibilities



1. Business Growth & Development



  • Drive and deliver strategic growth targets across all Livespot divisions.

  • Lead the development of pitch decks, proposals, and growth strategies aligned with brand vision.

  • Conduct competitive and market analysis to inform new business opportunities.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to co-create services, campaigns, and branded content that drive revenue.


2. Strategic Partnerships



  • Identify, negotiate, and manage partnerships with brands, agencies, platforms, and talent.

  • Build partnership models including co-creation, media barter, joint ventures, and ecosystem deals.

  • Maintain a CRM of all partnership leads, status, outcomes, and renewal opportunities.

  • Build strategic alliances to expand Livespot’s creative and cultural footprint.


3. Client Relationship & Experience Leadership



  • Act as the executive sponsor for high-value clients, ensuring exceptional experience delivery.

  • Translate client insights into scalable strategies and service innovations.

  • Guide the development of tailored client solutions and maintain strong relationship health across accounts.

  • Track client satisfaction and implement a continuous improvement loop across all touchpoints.


4. Project & Strategic Oversight



  • Provide strategic direction from ideation through execution of growth and partnership initiatives.

  • Ensure on-time delivery and quality across all BD and client experience projects.

  • Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and profitability of partnerships and activations.


5. Team Leadership & Culture



  • Build, coach, and lead a high-performing team that thrives on collaboration, excellence, and innovation.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews, mentorship sessions, and capacity-building programs.

  • Foster a strong internal culture of accountability, creativity, and bold execution.


6. Innovation & Risk Management



  • Champion innovative client offerings and digital tools to keep Livespot ahead of industry trends.

  • Manage risks across partnerships and client-facing projects; ensure alignment with company policy and compliance standards.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)



  • Revenue and pipeline growth

  • Client satisfaction and retention rate (NPS)

  • Partnership ROI and activation value

  • Proposal conversion rate

  • Strategic partner network expansion

  • Team performance and growth


 


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. MBA or Master’s degree is an advantage.

  • 7–10 years of senior-level experience in business development, partnerships, client services, or strategic growth within creative, media, or agency environments.

  • Strong industry network across Africa and globally with proven deal-making capabilities.

  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.

  • Experience leading high-performing, cross-functional teams.

  • Strong knowledge of digital tools, CRM systems, and proposal/project management platforms (e.g., Notion, Trello, Asana).

  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.


 


Location:



  • Lagos, Nigeria; including other locations as required.


 


Office Hours:



  • 08.00 to 17.00 Mondays to Fridays
