The Head of Lagos Operations is responsible for representing the Agbi Bayode & Co Group in Lagos, strengthening client relationships, supporting deal conversion, and coordinating the delivery of Lagos-based professional engagements.
This role provides market presence, credibility, and execution support in Lagos and serves as the primary link between Lagos-based clients and Abuja-based delivery teams.
This is not a branch management or office administration role. It is a market-facing, relationship-driven leadership role within a professional accounting and advisory group.

The Lagos market is strategic to the Group’s client acquisition, engagement delivery, and long-term growth.
Act as the Group’s primary representative in Lagos
Build, manage, and maintain relationships with business owners, professional firms, and institutions
Attend and support client meetings, presentations, and negotiations
Uphold the Group’s professional, ethical, and brand standards at all times
Identify and develop Lagos-based opportunities across:
Audit, tax defence, and advisory services
Outsourced accounting and CFO services
Usawa accounting and tax-tech products
Work closely with the Growth & Revenue Lead to qualify and progress opportunities
Support proposal discussions, pricing conversations, and deal follow-ups
Coordinate audit, tax defence, and advisory engagements conducted in Lagos
Liaise between Lagos-based clients and Abuja-based delivery teams
Manage on-ground logistics, documentation flow, and client communication
Ensure engagements are executed professionally, efficiently, and in line with agreed timelines
Provide day-to-day coordination for Lagos-based bookkeeping and accounting support staff
Ensure work aligns with Pillarcraft Accounting standards, systems, and processes
Escalate delivery or quality issues promptly to the appropriate practice leads
Gather market insights, client feedback, and competitive intelligence from the Lagos market
Identify opportunities for service improvement and new offerings
Support Usawa product awareness, adoption, and onboarding for Lagos-based clients
Minimum of 7–12 years’ professional experience
Prior experience working within an accounting firm, audit practice, or professional services environment
Practical exposure to audit engagements, including coordination, fieldwork support, or client-facing audit processes
Strong familiarity with professional accounting workflows, client expectations, and engagement delivery standards
Solid understanding of the Lagos business and professional services landscape
Proven experience engaging business owners, senior management, and institutional clients
A professional accounting qualification is not mandatory; however, hands-on experience within an accounting or audit firm is essential.
Strong relationship management and client-facing communication skills
Commercial awareness with the ability to support deal progression and conversions
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and coordinate multiple stakeholders
Sound professional judgment, discretion, and confidentiality
Clear written and verbal communication suitable for senior-level interactions
High integrity and professional credibility
