Head of Publications

Job Summary:

As the Head of Publications at Athena (a sister company to Onekobo Technology), you will be responsible for overseeing all content and publication activities, ensuring the creation and distribution of high-quality materials that align with the company’s strategic objectives. You will lead a team of writers, editors, and content creators, managing the production of a wide range of publications, including reports, articles, white papers, newsletters, and other content formats. Your role will be crucial in shaping the company’s voice and maintaining its reputation as a thought leader in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage the editorial calendar to ensure timely delivery of all publications.

  • Oversee the creation, editing, and production of all company publications, ensuring content is accurate, compelling, and aligned with brand standards.
    
  
  
  • Maintain editorial quality by enforcing style guides, tone of voice, and content guidelines across all platforms.
    
  
  
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as marketing, product, and sales teams, to ensure content meets their needs and objectives.

  • Manage the production process for all publications, including print and digital formats, from concept to final delivery.

  • Oversee the budgeting process for publication projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to budget constraints.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

  • 7+ years of experience in publishing, content management, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
    
  
  
  • Proven track record of managing content teams and producing high-quality publications.
