Job Description - Head of Sales




Our Client



Our client, a high-end luxury company, seeks to employ a Head of Sales.







Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute the national sales strategy to penetrate new markets.

  • Manage multi-branch sales teams to ensure target achievement and brand consistency.

  • Spearhead key account management with government parastatals, multinationals, and institutional clients.

  • Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and optimize inventory turnover.

  • Foster a culture of high performance aligned with the 5-C framework.

  • Set annual sales targets and commission structures in collaboration with Finance.

  • Oversee the recruitment and development of senior sales talent.

  • Represent the company at high-profile industry events and trade shows.

  • Report directly to the Board/Managing Director on sales performance and forecasts.

  • Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to align campaigns with sales goals









Requirements



  • B.Sc. in Business Administration, Economics, or related field. MBA is mandatory.

  • Minimum 15 years in sales leadership, managing large multi-branch teams.

  • Industry Background: Luxury Retail Chains, Premium Banking (Retail/Corporate), Telecoms (High-end B2B), or FMCG (with vast distribution networks).

  • Strategic vision and business acumen.

  • P&L management and financial analysis.

  • High-level negotiation and stakeholder management.

  • Change management and organizational design.

  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.

  • Advanced data analytics and forecasting.

  • Mentoring and executive coaching
