Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Live-in Healthcare Carer to support the daily needs of an elderly patient in Oluku, Benin City. The ideal candidate will be patient, trustworthy, and skilled in caregiving responsibilities, ensuring the highest standards of care in a respectful home setting.
Applicants must currently reside in Edo State (preferably Benin City or environs).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing

• Administer medications and monitor the patient's overall health

• Assist with light mobility exercises and physical activities

• Prepare nutritious daily meals according to dietary needs

• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized living environment

• Offer companionship and emotional support

• Communicate regularly with family members and medical professionals

Requirements

• Prior experience in elderly care or relevant healthcare certification

• Age: 30-45 years

• Fluent in English; knowledge of any Edo language is an added advantage

• Must be reliable, honest, and capable of working unsupervised

• Physically fit to manage caregiving tasks efficiently

• Willingness to live full-time with the patient (accommodation and basic household needs provided)

• Must be a current resident of Benin City or surrounding areas in Edo State
