VACANCY: HOUSE PARENT

A reputable British-curriculum private school in Ikeja GRA is seeking a committed, mature, and responsible male House Parent to provide pastoral care and residential supervision for students.

Key Responsibilities

● Provide pastoral care and supervision for students in the house

● Foster a safe, disciplined, and nurturing residential environment

● Serve as a primary point of contact for students' welfare, behaviour, and daily needs

● Liaise with academic staff, parents, and school management on student wellbeing

● Organise and supervise house activities, study periods, and evening routines

● Maintain accurate records of students' conduct, health concerns, and incidents

● Enforce school rules and uphold the school's values and code of conduct

Requirements

● Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification

● Prior experience working with children or young people in a school, residential, or welfare setting is essential

● Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills

● High level of emotional maturity, integrity, and patience

● Willingness to reside on campus is required
