We are looking for an organized, proactive, and resilient HR & Site Admin Officer to manage human resources, community engagement, and site operations for our construction project. The successful candidate will serve as the backbone of site operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day camp logistics, strict material control, robust community relations, and flawless management of both permanent staff and casual labor forces.
Key Responsibilities
Personnel & Labor Relations: Maintain up-to-date staff records and manage complex attendance and payroll support data for a diverse mix of permanent personnel and casual site laborers.
Community Relations: Actively manage and mitigate "Host Community" issues, engaging constructively with local youth associations and external stakeholders to prevent operational bottlenecks or project disruptions.
Facility Management & Welfare: Oversee site accommodation facilities, coordinate catering services, and spearhead general staff welfare initiatives to maintain high morale and a functional living/working environment.
Material & Inventory Control: Supervise the secure issuance, receipt, and documentation of site materials and inventory to eliminate waste or shortages.
Compliance & Documentation: Maintain comprehensive personnel files, incident reports, and site compliance documentation in line with statutory labor regulations and company policies.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Coordinate site-level recruitment logistics, schedule interviews, and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires and casual hands.
Requirements
Education: Bachelorâs Degree (B.Sc. / B.A.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven administrative and HR experience, specifically within a construction site, remote engineering project, or camp environment.
Community & Conflict Resolution: Demonstrated experience navigating host community dynamics and managing local youth associations in a professional, diplomatic manner.
Skills & Competencies: Strong command of MS Office (particularly MS Excel for labor tracking), exceptional negotiation skills, and strong crisis management capabilities.
Key Attributes: Highly resilient, adaptable to demanding field environments, and possesses a strong sense of firmness and fairness in managing casual labor.
What We Offer
Competitive monthly salary of NGN 400,000 - 600,000.
