Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities for technical, factory, and administrative positions.
Facilitate employee onboarding, induction, and confirmation processes.
Support the employment contracts, offer letters, transfer letters, promotion letters, and other HR correspondence.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases in both physical and electronic formats.
Manage employee leave administration, attendance records, and timekeeping systems.
Monitor employee probation periods and confirmation schedules.
Assist in payroll preparation by compiling monthly payroll inputs and liaising with the Head Office HR.
Support the administration of statutory deductions, pension contributions, employee benefits, and welfare initiatives with directives from the Human resource management.
Support the implementation of performance management processes and employee appraisal exercises.
Assist to coordinate employee training, development programmes, workshops, and certification requirements as directed by the Human resource manager.
Maintain training records and monitor compliance with mandatory training schedules.
Promote positive employee relations and assist in resolving employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
Support the coordination of employee engagement initiatives and staff welfare programmes .
Immigration & Expatriate Management
Manage expatriate employee documentation and ensure compliance with Nigerian immigration regulations.
Coordinate the processing and renewal of expatriate quotas, Combined Expatriate Residence Permit and Aliens Card (CERPAC), business permits, visas, and other immigration documents.
Liaise with the Nigerian Immigration Service and other relevant government agencies regarding expatriate matters.
Maintain an updated database of expatriate employees and monitor document expiration dates.
Ensure timely submission of statutory immigration reports and compliance requirements.
Support expatriate onboarding, accommodation arrangements, travel documentation, and relocation activities.
Compliance & Industrial Relations
Ensure compliance with Nigerian Labour Laws, Factory Regulations,
company policies, and other statutory requirements.
Support regulatory inspections and audits by government agencies, including the Ministry of Labour, Immigration Service, Environmental Agencies, and other regulators.
Maintain statutory records and HR compliance documentation.
Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices across the factory.
Administration & Facility Management
Coordinate office and factory administrative operations to ensure smooth day-to-day activities.
Manage office supplies, consumables, and inventory of furniture and equipment.
Monitor and manage allocation of office assets and IT equipment.
Arrange travel logistics, accommodation, transportation, and related administrative support.
Support visitor management and reception-related activities when required.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of administrative records.
Health, Safety & Employee Welfare
Support Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) initiatives within the factory.
Maintain records of employee medical examinations, PPE issuance, safety drills, and health-related programmes.
Coordinate employee health and welfare activities in collaboration with the HSE team.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Public Administration, Psychology, or a related Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Human Resources and Administration within a manufacturing or factory environment.
Hands-on experience managing expatriate and immigration-related processes.
Experience in payroll administration and employee relations.
Knowledge of factory operations and compliance requirements is an added advantage.
Professional Certifications Preferred certifications include:
Associate Member, Chartered Institute of
Personnel Management (CIPM)
Professional in Human Resources
International (PHRi)
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP
Relevant HSE certification (added
advantage)
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Laws and employment practices.
Good understanding of Nigerian Immigration regulations and expatriate management.
Knowledge of payroll administration and statutory remittances.
Employee relations and conflict resolution skills.
Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
