Job Description - HR Assistant

Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This role is ideal for early-career professionals eager to build a foundation in human resources management within a fast-paced, customer-driven environment. The HR Assistant will play a vital role in supporting day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance, fostering employee engagement, and contributing to a positive workplace culture. From onboarding new talent to maintaining accurate personnel records, this position provides hands-on experience in core HR functions while supporting organizational growth and operational efficiency. As a key contributor to our people strategy, the HR Assistant will help ensure that our workforce remains engaged, compliant, and aligned with company values.

Responsibilities:

Support the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, preparing onboarding documentation, and coordinating with hiring managers.
Maintain and update employee records in the HR information system (HRIS), ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
Assist in the onboarding and offboarding of employees, including preparing welcome kits, orientation materials, and exit interviews.
Coordinate employee training sessions, track attendance, and maintain training records.
Support HR initiatives related to performance management, employee recognition, and internal communications.
Assist in preparing reports on workforce metrics, attendance, turnover, and recruitment progress.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices across all employee-related activities.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, time-off requests, and other personnel matters.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational events, wellness programs, and team-building activities.
