Our client, a construction company, seeks to employ an HSE Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
- Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions.
- Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with construction safety and environmental regulations.
- Maintain HSE documentation and reporting systems.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 7+ yearsâ experience in Health, Safety, and Environment roles, preferably within the construction or engineering sector.
- Proven experience developing, implementing, and monitoring HSE policies and procedures on construction sites.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations, environmental standards, and statutory compliance.
- Experience conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
- Ability to lead site safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
- Experience working closely with project, site, and subcontractor teams to ensure compliance.
- Strong reporting, documentation, and regulatory liaison skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and enforcement abilities.
- Relevant qualification in HSE, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, ISPON, OSHA) will be an added advantage.
