To manage and implement HR services, policies, and programs for our Fertilizer Plant sub-division.
The role focuses on fostering a high-performance culture, emphasizing empowerment, quality, productivity, and goal attainment, while promoting a sustainable succession plan.
Duties & Responsibilities
Implement HR programs aligning with company strategy.
Enforce disciplinary policies and manage grievances.
Develop and monitor the HR budget.
Assist in developing and documenting HR policies.
Communicate HR policies with Plant Management.
Prepare and maintain HR reports and forecasts.
Advise on HR needs and track goal progress.
Align workforce with company goals through programs and guidelines.
Manage expatriate HR issues.
Conduct manpower planning and manage recruitment.
Requirements
B.Sc or HND
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Manufacturing experience will be an added advantage
Strong interpersonal, coaching, and negotiating skills
Excellent organizational, communication, and technical report writing skills
High integrity, discretion, and emotional intelligence
Excellent employee and industrial relations skills
Knowledge of labor laws, industrial relations, risk management, HSE practices, and benefits administration
Licensed to practice HR in Nigeria by CIPMN; membership in additional HR bodies is a plus
