ICT / Digital Learning Assistant

Role Summary

The ICT/Digital Learning Assistant supports the integration of technology into teaching, learning, and school administration. The role assists with the use and maintenance of digital learning tools, classroom technology, ICT equipment, and school information systems while providing technical support to teachers, pupils, and administrative staff to enhance the digital learning experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the effective use of technology for teaching, learning, and administrative activities across the school.
  
• Assist teachers in preparing digital learning materials, presentations, and setting up classroom technology for lessons.
  
• Provide basic technical support for computers, printers, internet-connected devices, projectors, and other ICT equipment.
  
• Support pupils during ICT lessons by assisting with basic computer skills and digital literacy activities.
  
• Help maintain school computers, ICT equipment, and digital resources to ensure they remain functional and available for use.
  
• Assist with updating digital learning content, maintaining electronic records, and performing routine data entry.
  
• Support the management of school communication platforms, online learning tools, and other digital systems.
  
• Monitor ICT equipment and promptly report technical faults, maintenance needs, or system issues.
  
• Perform basic troubleshooting and coordinate with relevant personnel to resolve technical problems.
  
• Promote the safe, responsible, and effective use of technology within the school environment.
  
• Perform other ICT and digital learning support duties as assigned.
