Job Description - Inventory Control Officer

Summary:
This role is critical to maintaining operational efficiency by ensuring accurate and up-to-date inventory management across assigned product categories. The individual will play a key part in optimizing stock levels, minimizing discrepancies, and supporting seamless supply chain operations. By closely monitoring inventory performance and system accuracy, the position contributes directly to cost control, customer satisfaction, and overall business continuity.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor daily inventory levels for assigned categories to ensure optimal stock availability.
  • Track stock movement, aging, and turnover rates to identify trends and potential issues.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the system through consistent data entry and verification.
  • Proactively manage stock levels to prevent stock-outs and avoid overstocking.
  • Conduct daily inventory reconciliation and perform variance analysis to resolve discrepancies.
