Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Investment Advisor to support its ambitious growth plans.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving client acquisition, developing strategic relationships, generating new business opportunities, and expanding the firm's market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities.
Build and manage strong relationships with high-value clients and strategic partners.
Drive client acquisition, revenue generation, and market expansion initiatives.
Understand client investment needs and present appropriate investment solutions.
Prepare and deliver compelling investment pitches, proposals, and presentations.
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and engagement to negotiation and deal closure.
Develop strategic partnerships that support business growth.
Conduct market research and identify emerging investment opportunities and market trends.
Evaluate the commercial viability of new products, services, and business opportunities.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular engagement and follow-up.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure effective delivery of client requirements.
Monitor business development activities, sales pipeline, and revenue opportunities.
Provide market and business development insights to senior management.
Requirements
Key Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a business-related field such as Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
Relevant experience in business development, sales, or strategic planning, preferably within a financial services institution.
Good knowledge of Nigeria's financial markets and its instruments.
Experience in financial services such as banking, stockbroking, asset management, or corporate lending is an advantage.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Ability to build and maintain strong client and business relationships.
Strong interest in financial markets and business development.
