Summary

The IT Officer plays a pivotal role in overseeing the Hub's information and communication technology ecosystem, ensuring the reliability of digital tools, hardware, and systems. This position is essential for enabling successful programme execution, enhancing staff efficiency, facilitating digital literacy initiatives, and driving innovation. By maintaining a robust technical environment, the IT Officer directly contributes to the organization's operational success and strategic goals.

Responsibilities

Oversee the upkeep and functionality of computers, network connectivity, software applications, and related ICT hardware.
Deliver comprehensive technical assistance to employees, organizational founders, and participants in various programmes.
Assist in the execution of digital skills workshops, virtual gatherings, and other technology-driven initiatives.
Administer data backup protocols, enforce cybersecurity measures, manage user access permissions, and uphold fundamental data protection standards.
Manage the Hub's web presence, digital platforms, and maintain accurate technical documentation as directed.
Facilitate the installation and ongoing maintenance of training spaces and audio-visual resources.
Assess technology requirements and propose budget-friendly technical solutions to meet organizational needs.
