Role Overview
As an IT Support Associate, you will be the primary point of contact for all technical needs across the organization. You will provide first-line hardware, software, and network support, ensuring minimal downtime and an exceptional end-user experience. This role requires sharp troubleshooting skills, strong organization, and a customer-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support: Respond to IT requests via email, chat, or phone; diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Onboarding & Setup: Configure new employee workstations, manage user accounts, and deploy business applications. Device Management: Maintain user laptops via MDM (Mobile Device Management) and track hardware in the device inventory sheet.
Documentation & Training: Create IT knowledge base articles/SOPs and provide basic systems training to staff.
Vendor & Infrastructure Support: Escalate complex issues to IT vendors, assist with AV setup for meeting rooms, and ensure compliance with IT security policies.
Qualifications
Customer-Centric Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication and an empathetic approach to helping users.
Highly Organized: Ability to multi-task, prioritize IT tickets independently, and maintain accurate inventory records. Technical Fundamentals: Familiarity with operating systems, basic networking, MDM software, and troubleshooting a variety of hardware/mobile devices.
