Job Summary
The Learning & Development Consulting Associate will support the design, coordination and delivery of consulting, training and capacity-development engagements for clients across the public, private and development sectors.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary consulting team, the Associate will contribute to research and analysis, training needs assessments, programme design, development of learning materials, coordination of workshops and executive programmes, preparation of client reports and proposals, and monitoring of project deliverables.
The role is designed for an early-career professional with 0–2 years of experience who is interested in building a career in management consulting, learning and development, organisational capacity strengthening and project delivery. The successful candidate will gain practical exposure to client engagements while developing strong analytical, communication, project-management and consulting skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the design and implementation of training, learning and capacity-development programmes for client organisations.
* Conduct desk research and analysis to support consulting assignments, training programmes and client advisory engagements.
* Assist in conducting training needs assessments, organisational assessments and competency-gap analyses.
* Support the development of training curricula, facilitator guides, presentations, case studies, exercises, assessment tools and other learning materials.
* Assist with the planning and coordination of workshops, seminars, executive training programmes, conferences, study visits and other capacity-development interventions.
* Support consultants and facilitators before, during and after client engagements to ensure effective programme delivery.
* Assist in collecting, analysing and interpreting participant feedback, assessment results and other programme data.
* Contribute to the preparation of training reports, consulting reports, concept notes, proposals, presentations and other client deliverables.
* Participate in client meetings, stakeholder engagements and project discussions, and assist in documenting key decisions, action points and follow-up activities.
* Support the monitoring of project workplans, timelines, milestones and deliverables to ensure assignments are completed to the required standard.
* Conduct research on emerging trends, policies, management practices and sector developments relevant to client needs and the firm's areas of practice.
* Support the development of proposals, expressions of interest and other business-development materials for prospective consulting and training opportunities.
* Maintain organised project documentation, research materials, client records and programme databases.
* Work collaboratively with consultants, facilitators, project teams and administrative staff across multiple assignments.
* Perform other related duties that contribute to the successful delivery of consulting, learning and capacity-development engagements.
