Logistics ManagerThe Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of product delivery, transportation, and order fulfillment, ensuring fast, accurate, and cost-effective delivery to customers across all channels, including online, retail, events, and B2B. This role also involves optimizing logistics operations, improving efficiency, and controlling costs to support the company’s operational goals.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Order Fulfillment Operations (35%)
● Oversee end-to-end order fulfillment process
● Ensure orders fulfilled within SLA (48 hours Lagos, 3-5 days other cities)
● Manage picking, packing, and shipping operations
● Coordinate fulfillment across multiple sales channels (website, stores, quick commerce)
● Monitor order accuracy and implement quality controls
● Resolve fulfillment issues and bottlenecks
● Optimize fulfillment workflows for efficiency
● Ensure proper packaging and product protection
Delivery Management (30%)
● Manage last-mile delivery operations
● Coordinate with logistics partners and courier services
● Track delivery performance and address delays
● Handle failed deliveries and customer delivery issues
● Optimize delivery routes and schedules
● Monitor delivery costs and seek efficiencies
● Ensure rider/driver safety and compliance
● Manage delivery tracking and customer notifications
Logistics Planning & Optimization (15%)
● Plan logistics for events, pop-ups, and store operations
● Forecast delivery volumes and capacity needs
● Analyze logistics data to identify improvement opportunities
● Implement cost-reduction initiatives
● Optimize warehouse layout for efficient fulfillment
● Manage inventory transfers between locations
● Plan for peak periods (holidays, promotions)
Vendor & Partner Management (10%)
● Manage relationships with courier companies and logistics partners
● Evaluate vendor performance (speed, reliability, cost, customer feedback)
● Negotiate contracts, rates, and service level agreements
● Onboard new logistics partners as needed
● Conduct regular vendor performance reviews
● Resolve vendor issues and disputes
● Ensure vendor compliance with standards
Team Leadership (10%)
● Lead, train, and develop logistics team and drivers
● Set performance goals and conduct reviews
● Ensure team follows SOPs and safety protocols
● Manage schedules, productivity, and accountability
● Foster culture of customer service excellence
● Handle disciplinary issues as needed
