Logistics Supervisor/Fleet Manager

• Collaborate closely with Port Managers to ensure seamless discharge of responsibilities and full compliance with operational standards.
  

• Coordinate with the Maintenance Team to achieve targeted Turnaround Time (TAT) for truck repairs and maintenance.
  

•  Ensure timely collation of container cards and forward them to the Business Development Department for further processing.
  

•  Conduct follow-up calls with drivers to provide interventions or resolutions when necessary.
  

•  Oversee daily logistics operations (work closely with the Logistics Admin), including: Preparing Daily Operational Plans, Generating Mid-day Progress Reports and Compiling End-of-Day Reports.
  

• Liaise promptly with clients to gather weekly requirements, enabling proactive planning to meet their needs effectively.
  

•  Provide early notification to the HR Department regarding expired truck documents and incidents, ensuring timely reporting to insurance where necessary.
  

• Verify and approve road costs before payment to ensure accuracy and accountability.
  

•  Develop and implement daily operation plans to maximize truck utilization, ensuring a minimum number of trips per week is consistently achieved.
  

• Manage and coordinate all activities of Port Officers and Drivers to ensure alignment with operational goals and standards.
