Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to join our team.The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day maintenance of the hotel's facilities, equipment, utilities, and building infrastructure, ensuring that all systems operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to guests and hotel operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise daily maintenance and repair activities across the hotel.
  
  


• Conduct routine inspections of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, and other facility systems.
  
  


• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance.
  
  


• Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and equipment breakdowns.
  
  


• Supervise maintenance technicians and artisans.
  
  


• Maintain accurate maintenance records and service schedules.
  
  


• Monitor generators, water systems, pumps, air-conditioning units, electrical systems, and other critical equipment.
  
  


• Coordinate external technicians and contractors when required.
  
  


• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hotel maintenance standards.
  
  


• Monitor maintenance tools, spare parts, and consumables.
  
  


• Liaise with Housekeeping, Front Office, Food & Beverage, and other departments to resolve maintenance issues.
  
  


• Prepare regular maintenance reports and recommend repairs, replacements, or upgrades.
  
  

Requirements

• OND Eng. or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Technology, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  
  


• Minimum of 3–5 years' relevant maintenance experience, preferably within a hotel, hospitality, commercial, or residential environment.
  
  


• Strong practical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
  
  


• Previous supervisory experience is an advantage.
  
  


• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  
  


• Ability to respond effectively to emergencies and work under pressure.
  
  


• Strong communication, organizational, and team-management skills.
  
  


• Must be hands-on, reliable, proactive, and safety-conscious.
