Job Description - Media & IT Associate

Summary:

The Media & IT Associate plays a vital role in strengthening the organization’s digital presence and operational efficiency. This position combines creative media management with essential IT support to ensure seamless communication, robust technology systems, and consistent brand representation across all digital platforms. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a dual focus on content innovation and technical reliability, contributing directly to the organization’s visibility, engagement, and internal productivity. Responsibilities:

Develop and execute digital communication and media strategies to increase organizational visibility and engagement.
Create, edit, and publish compelling content for websites, social media, newsletters, and other digital channels.
Design visual and multimedia content including graphics, infographics, presentations, videos, and promotional materials.
Manage and optimize the organization’s website, social media accounts, and digital campaigns, using analytics to inform strategy.
Capture and document organizational events through photography, videography, and multimedia storytelling.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and support IT infrastructure including computers, networks, internet connectivity, and peripheral devices.
Provide frontline technical assistance to staff on hardware, software, and digital collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Google Workspace).
Ensure data security, perform regular system backups, apply software updates, and uphold IT compliance standards.
Organize and manage digital filing systems, cloud storage, and internal databases for efficient information retrieval.
Support virtual events, webinars, online trainings, and live-streamed content with technical coordination and on-site support.
Enforce consistent branding standards across all digital and printed communication materials.
Monitor and integrate emerging trends in digital communication and information technology to enhance organizational performance.
