Job Description - Media Assistant

Summary
This role is dedicated to capturing and producing straightforward visual media that effectively illustrates the organization's on-the-ground initiatives. The position involves documenting field operations, events, and campaigns through photography and videography while strictly adhering to all consent protocols and safeguarding policies. The incumbent is also responsible for editing visual assets, creating basic graphic materials such as flyers and banners, managing digital archives, and configuring equipment for virtual gatherings and training sessions.

Responsibilities
  • Document organizational field activities, events, and campaigns by taking photographs and recording short video clips in compliance with consent and safeguarding standards.
  • Edit captured photos and videos, and design simple graphics, promotional flyers, and banners using fundamental software tools.
  • Maintain a secure and organized digital repository for all media files to ensure easy retrieval and data protection.
  • Prepare and configure technical equipment to support virtual meetings, training workshops, and various events.
