Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Associate

Job Summary

The MEAL Associate will support data collection, management, analysis, reporting, and learning across organizational programs and projects, ensuring reliable evidence is generated to measure results, inform decision-making, strengthen accountability, and improve program effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the collection, verification, and management of project data.
  
• Develop and maintain monitoring tools, trackers, databases, and data collection systems.
  
• Conduct data cleaning, analysis, and visualization for project reporting.
  
• Support field monitoring visits and beneficiary feedback activities.
  
• Prepare monitoring reports, dashboards, and learning briefs.
  
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.
  
• Support accountability mechanisms, including feedback and complaints management.
  
• Contribute to baseline, endline, assessments, and other data collection exercises.
  
• Maintain project performance records and MEAL documentation.
  
• Support the tracking of project indicators, targets, and results.
  
• Participate in learning, reflection, and review sessions.
  
• Contribute to using evidence and lessons learned to improve program quality and effectiveness.
  
• Perform other MEAL-related duties as assigned.
