Our Client, a multinational in the FMCG sector, is seeking to hire a National Sales and Marketing Manager SPECIFICALLY WITH EXPERIENCE IN THE BEVERAGE INDUSTRY, who will oversee the overall commercial strategy of their brand, sales, sales activation, client/principal engagement, and internal strategy numbers within the distribution house.
The ideal candidate will ensure profitable growth in sales revenue through planning, execution, and management of a supportive team.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee national sales, promotions, collections, and other activities to achieve sales targets.
Develop and execute consumer marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and drive sales growth.
Implement customer marketing initiatives to improve customer retention and satisfaction.
Build positive working relationships with existing clients for repeat business.
Identify gaps and find potential customers to expand distribution and grow sales.
Coordinate with the sales team to plan promotional activities, trade shows, and special events.
Motivate and guide the sales team to achieve revenue targets.
Maintain sales management and reporting tools to achieve business objectives.
Coordinate with management to develop a sales plan, budget, and schedule.
Interact with the sales team to develop sales plans and strategies.
Develop creative sales techniques and tactics to meet business goals.
Understand client needs and provide appropriate sales solutions.
Address client issues and queries within the agreed timeline.
Prepare sales contracts, proposals, and reports for management and customers.
Develop sales presentations for the board of directors and customers.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 10 years of traditional sales operations experience.
Proven experience in consumer marketing, customer marketing, and sales roles within the beverage industry.
Experience working in an FMCG sales environment, specifically in the beverage industry, where an understanding of strategic sales processes
and the steps necessary to drive sales results is required.
Demonstrated experience in managing projects for sales process or program implementation from concept to completion.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
Excellent presentation skills.
Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team where open, collaborative communication is expected.
Exhibits personal traits of curiosity, modesty, achievement orientation, and conscientiousness.
Team player who is creative, process-oriented, and committed.
Excellent knowledge and use of Basic MS Office Suites (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
